In 1999, Christine Stevens and her husband Jim established the Spencer H. Wagar, M.D. Endowment Fund in honor of her father's life in medicine and his profound caring for others. The distributions for this fund are currently supporting opportunities at Ypsilanti East Middle School Health Center that serves a diverse group of adolescents and has been designated as a high-risk school. Through this fund, Dr. Wagar's generous spirit and vision of community health care lives on through the children and the families in Ypsilanti.
