The Kessler Award will support a senior medical student based on academic achievement during the first three years of medical school, performance in the family medicine clerkship, a demonstrated commitment to the principles of and a career in family medicine, and demonstrated financial need, as well as, an interest and dedication in helping rural and/or medically underserved populations.
