To create an endowment fund to establish the Alvin Johnson Stewart, M.D. Fellowship in Family Medicine for the support of training of graduate family physicians in the University of Michigan Medical School, Department of Family Medicine. The University will apply the annual distributions (in accordance with its endowment distributions policy) from the above-named endowment fund at the direction of the Chair of the Department of Family Medicine for the purpose of supporting training during matriculation in a fellowship program within the Department of Family Medicine.
