The Jill and Thomas R. Berglund, M.D. Family Medicine Scholarship is awarded annually to a senior medical student based on the combination of outstanding academic achievement, demonstrated financial need, and a commitment to the principles of, and a career in, family medicine. Dr. Berglund, who passed away in 2011, was a 1959 U-M medical school graduate and a family physician in the Kalamazoo area.
