Integrative Medicine Fellowship

The University of Michigan's Family Medicine Residency has created an integrative medicine educational track that is now available to one resident each year. Residents in the integrative medicine track will enjoy the same high quality family medicine training as their fellow residents. In addition, each year one month will be devoted to integrative medicine. This will provide time to learn about and experience various modalities within complimentary and alternative medicine (CAM), interact with integrative physicians and alternative providers, focus on self-care, and develop an integrative approach to patient care for use in their practice. After completing a three year residency, an additional twelve months of focused study offers in-depth training in special interest areas of integrative medicine.
