Natasha joined the Office of the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs in 2006 as an Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff. She now provides support for special projects such as executive level searches, committees and faculty & staff recognition programs.
Prior to joining the Office of the EVPMA, she served as a Program Coordinator in LSA Comparative Literature, a Program Assistant in the School of Information and a Research Secretary in the School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology.
Natasha is an active member of the VOICES of the Staff Benefits, Health and Well Being Committee and is an MHealthy Champion.
Natasha received her B.A. from Oral Roberts University.

Joette has served as the Assistant to the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs since the office was created in 1997. Before coming to the Office of the EVPMA, she spent five years in the UM President’s Office. Prior to that, she held positions in the Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, as well as the School of Social Work.
Joette received her B.B.A. degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Allison joined the Office of the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs in December 2009 after working in the UMHS Department of Communication for six years. As communications director, she is the chief speechwriter for the EVPMA and oversees development, implementation and monitoring of a comprehensive EVPMA communications plan. Prior to joining the health system, Allison worked in marketing and communications for the YWCA of Seattle-King-Snohomish Counties in Seattle, Wash., and the Oregon Trail Chapter of the American Red Cross in Portland, Ore.
Allison has a B.S. in journalism, summa cum laude, from Boston University.
Pattie Postel, Executive Assistant to Chief Administrative Officer/Chief of Staff

Pattie joined the Office of the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs in the spring of 2014.
As the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff, she supports executive level committee coordination, materials preparation and scheduling, as well as special events and projects.
Prior to joining the Office of the EVPMA, she served as a Grants Coordinator for the UMHS Regional Alliance for Healthy Schools adolescent health centers, and other key administrative positions in the Ross School of Business and the College of Literature Science and the Arts.
Pattie is a former elementary school teacher and Education Director at the Leslie Science and Nature Center.
Pattie received her M.S. from Indiana University and a post baccalaureate teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University.
Tenley Sterkel, Administrative Assistant Senior

Tenley joined the Office of the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant. Tenley provides high-level administrative support for the EVPMA team. Prior to joining the Office of the EVPMA in 2013, she served in several administrative roles at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.
Tenley received her B.A. from Boston University.
Quinta Vreede, Chief Administrative Officer, University of Michigan Health System,

Quinta became the first Chief Administrative Officer of the University of Michigan Health System in May 2010. Ms. Vreede oversees key Health System functions including regulatory compliance, government relations, facility planning, public relations and marketing. In addition to her CAO role she also serves as chief of staff to the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs.
Quinta has more than 20 years of experience working in health care, many of them at UMHS. Prior to becoming the CAO she had been the lead administrator for the Department of Family Medicine in the U-M Medical School, while also having lead responsibility for five of the Health System's outpatient centers in her role as an ambulatory care administrator. She was the first health care administrator to hold both roles simultaneously.
Quinta has a M.H.S.A. from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
