Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) Patient Registry

A focus of the U-M Esophageal Disorders Program is to maintain a clinical database of patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and food allergy who are seen by the Divisions of Adult Gastroenterology and Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

This registry will help researchers to track the natural disease history of EoE and the responses to treatments. This information will broaden our understanding of how the disease progresses, as well as the best treatments or interventions for EoE.

Our goal is to have all our patients with EoE join the registry.

• You are eligible to join the registry if you have been diagnosed with EoE and are followed at Michigan Medicine.


• If you agree to join the registry, we will ask you to complete a brief survey about your symptoms and quality of life. We expect that this survey will take 10–15 minutes to complete.


• Your medical chart will give us more information about prior endoscopies and treatments for EoE.
