Dr. Kim Turgeon will speak about colorectal cancer screening. She specializes in colon cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Bertha Aycock will speak about foods that help protect against cancer. She is a registered dietitian specializing in chronic disease prevention and management. This event is sponsored by the Ann Arbor Chapter of the Oncology Nurses Society, Eastern Michigan University, University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center and American Cancer Society. Grant funding was provided by the Michigan Public Health Institute.
