The new 65 bed Emergency Department was opened in July 2003 at
SJMH. It comprises of Adult Emergent and Urgent Care areas as well
as a Pediatric Emergency Care Center. There is also a 13 bed Observation
Unit. The patient population is extremely diverse and very representative
