Membership Information

EMIG membership is open to all University of Michigan medical students interested in learning more about the field of Emergency Medicine.

To join EMIG, please email the co-presidents, sign up at an EMIG event, or contact the EM student coordinator:

Membership fee:

New members	$ 10/year
Returning members	$ 5/year

Note: While many EMIG events are open to all University of Michgan medical students, some events are open only to EMIG members.

Membership includes:

• free attendance for all EMIG events for the entire year
• an EMIG lapel pin
• name added to the EMIG group email
• makes one eligible for a leadership position within EMIG
• members have first priority to procedural workshop when size must be capped

What if I want to purchase just an EMIG lapel pin?
Pins can be purchased for $3.00 each by anyone. Pins will be available at EMIG events, as well as out of the EM medical student coordinator's office (Heather Wourman, cerovski@umich.edu)

Forms of Payment
Cash or check are acceptable forms of payment for membership and/or a pin. Checks can be made out to the University of Michigan with EMIG membership noted in the memo line and submitted to Heather Wourman in B 1380 TC or at EMIG events.
