- In accordance with medical school guidelines, we aim for roughly 20% honors, 40% high pass and 40% passing grades.
- Your grade is assigned by the EM Medical Student Director from
the Department of Emergency Medicine. Input is obtained from EM
faculty, residents, and the written examination.
- Your grade is determined approximate weighting of the following factors:

- Consideration will also be given to factors, such as written
comments and professionalism, and may result in a grade different
from a pure numerical calculation.
- Significant issues with unprofessional behavior may result in
course failure.
- Final determination of the course grade rests solely with the
course director.
