The Ghana Emergency Medicine Collaborative is overseen and funded by the University Of Michigan Department Of Emergency Medicine with close partnership from the University Of Utah Section Of Emergency Medicine. The University of Utah has long had a role in building medical education and practice in Ghana and has much to contribute in fostering emergency medicine at KATH. The University of Michigan and University of Utah are unified in working towards the successful completion of this initiative.  We remain in close contact with other U.S. contributors to EM in Ghana including Columbia University and New York University.
