| Certification Classes
As part of intern orientation residents will become certified in:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support (ACLS/BLS)
Valid for 2 years.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Valid for 4 years.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Valid for 2 years.
At the beginning of the EM2 year, residents will become certified
in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Valid for 2 years.
The cost of these training programs will be paid by the institution. Additionally, the cost to renew certification for ACLS and
PALS will be paid by the institution. |
