We provide medical treatment, rehabilitation, hazard and safety awareness, health promotion and wellness education for UMHHC employees. Our programs include:

- Medical Surveillance for Employees Exposed to Potential Hazards
- New Employee Health Assessments
- Occupational Health Consultations

Eligibility for our programs
EHS serves the employees of the Hospitals and Health Centers as an operating unit of the University of Michigan Health System. “Employees” include individuals paid on accounts that are part of the H&HC, as well as employees who may be paid by Health System accounts but work in H&HC buildings. In addition, some of our programs are available to students, such as evaluation and treatment of bloodborne pathogen exposures and influenza vaccination.
