LECTURES

The Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes (MEND) Division of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Health System supports a long tradition of excellence in education and research in health care, serving the University of Michigan and the surrounding communities.  The innovative research conducted by our physicians and faculty has paved the way for more effective methods of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of endocrine disorders.

The MEND Division is dedicated to transforming the landscape of metabolism, endocrinology, and diabetes research, education and patient care through collaborative initiatives that provide our faculty, fellows, students and other interested health professionals exposure to the latest cutting edge developments in basic and clinical research.  Numerous education programs are provided to our faculty.  Our Continuing Medical Education network offers over 100 single lectures annually through our MEND Clinical Conference and Research Conference Series and our Diabetes Grand Rounds Seminars.
