Our multidisciplinary clinics and diabetes education classes help children and adolescents (0-18 years of age), and their families manage all forms of diabetes - type 1 (insulin dependent), type 2, and pre-diabetes. Our care is through the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital - ranked as one of the best pediatric hospitals in the nation.
Our goal in diabetes care is to maintain blood glucose in near normal ranges to prevent diabetes complications and promote normal growth and development while accommodating family life-style choices.

- Blood sugars/insulin adjustments
- Problems with prescriptions and refills
- Scheduling classes and clinic appointments
- Advice and information

When to call: after hours, weekends and holidays regarding Emergency Issues such as:
- Severe low blood sugars
- Moderate to large ketones
- Vomiting more than 3 times
- Unable to keep fluids down and/or no fluid intake for 4 hrs
- Unsure of what to do
