Meet the Pediatric Diabetes Education Team

The Pediatric Diabetes Education Team addresses individual needs of the child with diabetes and their family in an outpatient setting.  We feel that self-management education is an integral component of quality care provided to children with diabetes and is essential to successful diabetes management.  Self-management empowers patients/families to make informed decisions on how to maintain or improve health and quality of life through their own initiative.
