Popular cafe supports diabetes research
for American Diabetes Month
In honor of American Diabetes Month, from November 1–25, the Glass House Café will donate 10% of the sales of selected menu items to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Diabetes Center in support of diabetes research. The offer is good for both dine-in and carry-out items, and orders may be phoned in advance.
The Glass House Cafe is a health-conscious, casual urban cafe and catering house with menus featuring globally influenced modern American fare, using local ingredients whenever possible. They accept UM Shortcodes, Blue Bucks, and all major credit cards.
Diabetes is a serious disease that leads to potentially life-threatening complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, blindness, and amputation. Type 2 diabetes risk, onset, and severity can be reduced or eliminated by regular exercise and healthy eating, such as the following dishes!
