Israel Hodish, M.D., Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes
Dr. Israel Hodish obtained his M.D. degree in 1996 from the Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. Following a residency in internal medicine, he earned a PhD from the Tel-Aviv University, Israel. He completed the fellowship program in Metabolism, Endocrinology and Diabetes in the University of Michigan in 2007.
Dr. Hodish's research interests center around beta-cell biology in transgenic animal models and the association between the production of misfolded insulin and diabetes.
