Welcome to the Michigan Comprehensive Diabetes Center (MCDC), established in 2005, to unite diabetes researchers and physicians here at the University and to foster collaboration with diabetes experts from around the world – with one mission in mind - to find a cure.

One center of the MCDC is the Brehm Center for Type 1 Diabetes Research
and Analysis which will be housed in the new Kellogg Eye Center Expansion Project

Former U-M Quarterback Hosts Golf Outing to Benefit MCDC
Rich Hewlett, former U-M quarterback and his wife, Christine, are Chairpersons, along with Cathy Schembechler as the Celebrity Chair, are gearing up for the Swing to Cure Golf Outing on May 19th designed to jointly benefit the University of Michigan Comprehensive Diabetes Center (MCDC) and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
