The University of Michigan Cutaneous Surgery and Oncology Program is a premier referral center for patients with skin cancer with a strong regional, national and international reputation for skin cancers of all types. As part of the U-M Multidiscplinary Comprehensive Cancer Center - among the largest in the country - the unit handles 10,000 patient visits each year for treatment of melanoma, high-risk basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and the entire spectrum of various rarer tumors.
