Skin Lymphoma and Mycosis Fungoides

In the Cutaneous Lymphoma/Mycosis Fungoides Program at the University of Michigan, we provide an innovative and comprehensive treatment approach for this rare disease in which malignant white blood cells localize in the skin.

We offer our cutaneous lymphoma patients special weekly office hours and hold regular multidisciplinary conferences in which faculty and residents review challenging cases with a multidisciplinary team of experts from radiation oncology, hematology/oncology and pathology. Leveraging the expertise and experience of our world-renown physicians, we create customized treatments that include phototherapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy or a powerful treatment called extracorporeal photopheresis which circulates white blood cells outside the body, exposes them to ultraviolet light and returns them to the patient.
