Charlotte
Allport, MS, RN, NP has worked
in psychiatry since 1989, starting
on the adult inpatient psychiatric
unit at the University of Michigan.
Prior to working in psychiatry, she
worked in both medical-surgical nursing
and in home care/hospice. Currently,
she is a Care Navigator with the Depression
Center's M-DOCC program and co-facilitator
with the outpatient dialectical behavioral
therapy group. Charlotte is also enrolled
in the University of Michigan School
of Nursing Psychiatric/Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner Program. |

Margaret
Amburgey, MS, RN, CS, NP received
a master's degree from the University
of Michigan and is certified as a
specialist in Adult Psychiatric Mental
Health Nursing through the American
Nurses Credentialing Center and is
a Certified Nurse Practitioner through
the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
She has extensive experience in treating
adult patients with anxiety and depression,
specializing in cognitive-behavioral
and medication treatments. As a specialists
in the treatment of students, she
works at the University of Michigan
Counseling and Psychological Services.
She is also active in the Women's
Health Program where she treats women
with affective illness, particularly
during pregnancy the and postpartum
phase. |

Bonnie
Hagerty, PhD, RN, CS is an
Associate Professor in the University
of Michigan School of Nursing. Dr.
Hagerty received her Ph.D. at University
of Michigan and masters degree at
University of Maryland. She conducts
research in factors associated with
belonging in depression, and self
monitoring and clinical outcomes in
depression. Her research interests
include self monitoring, clinical
outcomes, interventions, symptom management
related to depression and its treatment. |

Julie
Kuebler, MS, RN, NP has worked
in Psychiatry at the University of
Michigan on Adult Inpatient and Child/Adolescent
Inpatient Units since 1984. She is
currently a staff nurse in Adult Outpatient
Ambulatory Psychiatry. Julie is a
Care Navigator for the Depression
Center's M-DOCC program and coordinates
the Meds Plus Clinic. Julie is enrolled
in the University of Michigan School
of Nursing Psychiatric/Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner Program. |

Claudia
Miller, MS, RN, NP is a graduate
of the University of Michigan and
has 17 years experience in psychiatric
mental health nursing. She has expertise
in cognitive behavioral therapy for
anxiety disorders and borderline personality
disorder, as well as crisis intervention. |

Sharon
Mudd, MS, RN, CS, NP is a Clinical
Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry and
a licensed Nurse Practitioner. While
pursuing her master's degree from
the University of Michigan, she received
a trainee award from the National
Institute of Mental Health and was
named in Who's Who Among Students
in American Colleges and Universities.
Sharon has worked in the University
of Michigan Department of Psychiatry
for over ten years serving clinical,
research, and administrative roles.
She has published and conducted research
in the areas of behavior change, depression
in women over the reproductive life
cycle, and substance abuse treatment
and currently works in the area of
mood disorders in women, with special
interest in the area of fertility. |

Pamela
Bifano Schweitzer, MS, RN, NP
received her undergraduate degree
in nursing from Madonna University
and a Master of Science in adult psychiatric
and mental health nursing at the University
of Michigan. She has been a member
of the Anxiety Disorders staff since
1987, and has been an adjunct faculty
member of the U of M School of Nursing
since 1991. Her areas of expertise
include cognitive and behavioral therapies
(CBT), psychopharmacologic treatments
and education for individuals with
anxiety and mood disorders. She treats
both individuals and groups, often
using family based models in her treatment. |

James
Smith, RN is a nurse in the
outpatient services of the Department
of Psychiatry at the University of
Michigan. His clinical interests include
childhood and adolescent depression,
attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder,
and other childhood psychiatric illness.
As a care manager within the Child
and Adolescent Depression Program,
his role includes facilitating treatment,
providing patient and family education,
and responding to family needs. |

Reg
Williams, PhD, RN, CS, FAAN
is a Professor in the University of
Michigan School of Nursing. Dr. Williams
received his Ph.D. and M.N. at University
of Washington. He conducts research
on factors associated with belonging
in depression, and self monitoring
and clinical outcomes in depression.
His research interests include intervention
with Navy Recruits at risk for depression,
self-symptom management of patients
with recurrent depression, stress
and coping in depressed patients,
and directed attention and short term
memory in depression (computer designed
to measure concentration and memory). |
