...not all insurances will pay for services at the Depression Center, and often health insurers will cover medical care but not behavioral health care at UMHS. It is best to verify coverage with your insurance carrier before calling for an appointment (the intake staff will also have a list of the most common accepted/non-paying insurance companies).

Second...
...you can expect that your phone call will be answered promptly, and that as part of the intake process you will speak with a clinician, who will gather information to assist you in making the best therapeutic match for you or your child. Because we are conducting a thorough screening, you can anticipate that you may be on the phone for approximately 20 - 30 minutes to complete the process.
