Venous Health Program

Venous Disease is a common problem, and knowledge on the subject is constantly being updated. To stay current with the latest diagnostic and treatment options, patients and their referring physicians turn to the Venous Health Program at the U-M Cardiovascular Center each year.

While the full spectrum of venous disease ranges from mild, cosmetic conditions to more complex, limb-threatening problems, our experienced team of physicians has had great success in treating them all.

The Venous Health Program brings together established vascular surgeons, vascular medicine specialists, interventional radiologists and nurse practitioners to provide you with seamless multidisciplinary care. One of our goals is to take the guesswork out of choosing the right specialist by offering all of the services you may need in one location. Few other centers offer this type of complete, multidisciplinary venous disease treatment program.

We’re here to help. If you have a history of blood clots, severe edema or unexplained pain in your legs, talk with your doctor to see if you would benefit from the advanced resources and care offered by the Venous Health Program at the U-M Cardiovascular Center.
