Timothy Brett Cotts, M.D.

Dr. Cotts is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and the Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program at the CVC. He earned his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Michigan, followed by fellowship in pediatric cardiology. He treats adults with all forms of congenital heart disease, with particular interests in tetralogy of Fallot, transposition of the great arteries, single ventricle lesions (Fontan procedure), coarctation of the aorta, and congenital coronary anomalies. His research interests include quality of life outcomes in adults with complex congenital heart disease as well as the interaction between sleep apnea and cardiac function in patients with congenital heart disease.
Martin Lindsey Bocks, M.D.

Dr. Bocks is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and maintains clinics in both the Cardiovascular Center and the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University. He subsequently completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Michigan, followed by fellowship in pediatric cardiology. His clinical interests include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization of congenital heart disease. Specific interventional procedures include device closure of atrial septal defects and PFO’s, balloon valvotomy, coarctation of the aorta stenting, and transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement. Dr. Bocks’ research interests include the development of an implantable device to measure ambulatory intracardiac pressure in patients with single ventricle heart defects, as well as the study of aspirin non-responsiveness in the congenital heart disease population.

Janice Norville, MSN, MSBA, RN
Janice joined the University of Michigan Health System in 2005. Her clinical background was primarily in med/surg & peri-operative care areas. Janice spent 17 years of her career in these areas at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She currently leads the Cardiovascular Medicine Special Programs Teams with programs at the CVC, Dominos and Briarwood. She is the Director of Clinical Operations for the HF Telemanagement Team, the HFT Inpatient NP/PA Service, the Pre & Post Heart Transplant Program, the CVM NP Bridge Clinics, the Adult Congenital Heart Program, the Pulmonary Hypertension Program, the NP’s in the Chest Pain Center in the ED, the CVM at Dominos Farms and BW5 Programs, and the Anticoagulation Program.
