Over 50 students are matriculated as CMB students in a given year. Students join CMB and seek out CMB faculty in an effort to engage in interdisciplinary study and research. Our trainees are uniquely poised to tackle challenging projects that require unique approaches to scientific discovery. Our students routinely win top awards on campus for teaching, service, leadership and scholarship. The interdisciplinary approach and flexible nature of CMB training is often a natural fit for students in the MSTP pursuing the PhD portion of the degree.
