1. How do I get help in preparing clinical protocols?
The
Director of the Center for Gene Therapy will assist University
of Michigan investigators in the design and implementation of
gene therapy clinical protocols. The Administrative Core will
facilitate the completion of the internal and external approval
application process, including: BRRC, IRB and FDA IND applications.
2.
Is funding available for translational studies?
Funding
for translational studies may be available from Federal agencies,
as well as pharmaceutical and biotechnology company sponsors.
In addition, the Center for Gene Therapy has limited funds
which may be made available for pilot studies.
