Undergraduate Work Study/Part Time Employee

Duties:

For undergraduates with some experience in biology, the Vector Core Laboratory provides a great opportunity for getting hands-on lab experience.  We entrust our undergraduates with significant scientific responsibility, and include them in much of the laboratory work.

Responsibilities will include:
Tissue Culture
Maintenance of cell factories
Assist in manufacture of adenovirus and plasmids
Lab maintenance

We offer a relaxed work environment and flexible working hours.  Wage to be negotiated.

Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP)

UROP creates research partnerships between first and second year students and faculty researchers. The program began in 1989 and today there are 1000 student and over 500 faculty researchers engaged in research partnerships.
