Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the University of Michigan Health System serves individuals from every corner of the state and beyond. The University of Michigan Health System is the wholly-owned academic medical center of the University of Michigan.  It includes the U-M Hospitals and Health Centers which includes University Hospital, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Women's Hospital;  U-M Medical School, with its Faculty Group Practice and research laboratories; numerous outpatient clinics and centers, the Michigan Visiting Nurses; and the Michigan Health Corporation. 

University Hospital

Our system's main facility for adult patient care, this 9-story 550-bed facility welcomes patients from across the community and from regional hospitals outside the Ann Arbor area. Behind its doors, you'll find a state-of-the art environment that includes the latest diagnostic equipment, clinical laboratories, operation rooms and inpatient/intensive care units. Learn more.

Mott Hospital

World-renowned for clinical educational and research programs, Mott Hospital is the leading pediatric hospital in the nation and the only Children's Hospital in Michigan to ranked as the best children's hospital in the U.S. by Child Magazine in 2005. Scheduled to open in Spring 2011, the new C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital will include a 9-story clinic space and a 12-story tower entirely devoted to inpatient care. State-of-the-art in every sense, this new setting will increase privacy and capacity for patients while providing more comfortable facilities and amenities for families.

Women's Hospital and Birthing Center

Recognized as Southeast Michigan's regional prenatal centere for high-risk pregnancies, this 28-room, 32-maternity bed Birth Center was one of the first facilties in the country to offer single-room maternity care mothers and families. The Center allows moms to labor, give birth, recover and keep their babies with them in one private room until it's time to go home. Learn More.

University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMCCC)

Designated by the The National Cancer Institute as one of 40 comprehensive cancer centers in the U.S., the UMCCC is one of 21 premier centers participating in the National Comprehensive Cancer Center and the statewide network of almost 90 Michigan organizations known as the Comprehensive Cancer Consortium. University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center (CVC)

The U-M CVC is a nationally recognized leader in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular diseases. On June 11, 2007, the $215 million University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center (CVC) clinical building opened its doors to a new way of treating and studying cardiovascular disease in Michigan and throughout the nation. W. K. Kellogg Eye Center

The ever-expanding W.K. Kellogg Eye Center is home to the University of Michigan Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, which is part of the University of Michigan Medical School and the University of Michigan Health System. Currently under construction is the Kellogg Eye/Breham Diabetes Center, an 8-story building that will house the expansion of the top-ranked Kellogg Eye Center.
