What is PIBS?
The University of Michigan Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) is an interdisciplinary gateway program that coordinates admissions and first-year graduate studies for 14 doctoral programs, including Cancer Biology.
PIBS is proud to be a part of one of the largest and most vibrant research communities in the country, consistently ranking among the top 10 schools for NIH funding. Our students enjoy access to more than 500 talented faculty and their laboratories. And, PIBS offers you the flexibility and convenience of applying to any of our programs through one application.
