Bladder Cancer
There is hope, innovation and support available for those with bladder here at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Bladder cancer is the 4th most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and 9th in women.
Patient Care and TreatmentThe Bladder Cancer Program follows a team approach to diagnosing and treating those with bladder cancer. Our patients have their situation discussed not only by our urologic oncologists and surgeons, but also by experts in radiation oncology and pathology -- as well as nurse practitioners and physician assistants who specialize in the treatment of bladder cancer. By having everyone involved, a personalized treatment plan is developed. All of this takes place in our Multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Clinic.
The urologic oncology clinic team meets weekly to go over x-ray images, pathology reports and patient history to determine the best treatment option for you. Learn more about this on our Diagnosis & Treatment page.
