Research Ethics and Integrity Program (REIP)
The MICHR Research Ethics and Integrity Program is responsible for developing programs that foster professionally responsible and ethically sound translational research practices.
When fully established REIP will:
- Provide leadership in building a comprehensive institutional commitment to integrity in all MICHR activities.
- Consult with and provide advice to researchers, staff, and community members about ethical issues raised by MICHR activities.
- Pursue pilot research projects that explore the ethical implications of clinical and translational research and their impact on individuals, populations, and society as a whole. Research Ethics Pilot Project Request for Application (68KB Word document)
- Train students, researchers and staff in ethically and professionally responsible research.
