Funds Available to U-M Researchers Exploring Problems in Aging
The Nathan Shock Center for the Biology of Aging has subsidy funds available to help U-M faculty members purchase services from U-M research cores.
The funds may be used to help pay a portion (50%) of the costs at any U-M core that has user fees or recharge rates. The research project must address questions related to the physiology, cell biology, genetics or molecular biology of aging.
Example Cores include:
- Protein Structure Core
- DNA Sequencing Core
- Metabolomics and Obesity Center
- Center for Molecular Imaging
- Affymetrix and DNA Microarray Core
- Center for Chemical Genomics
- shRNA Library Core
