Physical Therapy

Anne Barthelemy is a Belgian-trained physical therapist with 23 years of clinical experience specializing in pelvic patients and spine care. She graduated in 1980 from the Higher Institute of Kinesitherapy in Brussels, Belgium specializing in OB-Gyn care in Belgium from 1980 to 1982. From 1982 to 1988 she established a prenatal–post partum program focusing on an exercise approach for the childbearing population in a small acute care hospital in Virginia. From 1988 to 2000 she had the opportunity to live and volunteer in a local hospital in the Pattaya, Thailand teaching childbirth education as well as pregnancy exercise to the international population. She joined the University of Michigan Hospital pelvic program in 2002, subsequently expanding the program to Med Rehab Canton since July of 2003. She is currently treating orthopedic and spine patients and specializing in the pelvic conditions of the female and male population using a variety of manual and exercises and techniques.
