About Us

Our Michigan Bowel Control Program (MBCP) is a multidisciplinary program that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of defecation disorders and other disorders of the posterior pelvic floor, including bowel incontinence, constipation, rectovaginal fistulas and pelvic organ prolapse (enterocele, cystocele, urethrocele, rectocele, rectal prolapse, uterine prolapse, bladder prolapse). Our team includes experts in the fields of urogynecology, gastroenterology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, GI physiology and colon/rectal surgery.

Our Michigan Bowel Control Program (MBCP) offers timely diagnostic testing, coordinated appointments to maximize patient convenience, specialized pelvic floor muscle and nerve testing, a comprehensive pelvic floor muscle strengthening and biofeedback program, surgeons with extensive operative experience in colon/rectal surgery and urogynecology, coordinated care from nurses that are experts in their field and rapid reports to the patients primary or referring physician.
