Jane Forman, ScD, MHS
Jane Forman, ScD, MHS, is a Research Scientist at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Center for Practice Management and Outcomes Research. Her doctorate is from the Program in Law, Ethics, and Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She provides qualitative research expertise to investigators at the VA and the University of Michigan through teaching and collaboration. Her research has focused on physician-patient communication, trust, and end-of-life decision-making, with an emphasis on using qualitative methods to better understand issues that cannot be addressed adequately by measurement and theory alone.
