Dr. Rosenberg serves as the Director for Critical Care Research & Education within the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Rosenberg's previous honors include being elected Chief Resident in the Department of Anesthesiology and receiving a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar Award.

Research Interests:

Innovative methods to measure response to therapy in intensive care units
1. Additional information obtained with biologic markers of inflammation in addition to traditional physiologic measures

Intensive Care Unit Benchmarking and Outcomes:
1. Influence of referral and admission source on ICU outcomes.
2. Evaluation of outcomes and costs associated with unplanned readmissions to the ICU.
3. Utility of daily risk-adjusted prognostic scores and ICU outcomes
4. Evaluating the validity of physician ‘report-cards’ in the ICU

The ARDS Clinical Trials Network and ALI SCORE in Acute Lung Injury
