Obstetric Anesthesiology is the subspecialty of Anesthesiology devoted to the comprehensive management, perioperative care, and pain management of women during pregnancy and the puerperium. The Obstetric Anesthesiology Research Team’s goal is to promote an environment of inquiry and scholarship where knowledge is developed that will benefit pregnant women and their infants. We provide guidance and technical support for faculty (and residents) involved in research including clinical research design and statistical analysis. Our team includes faculty, resident physicians, obstetric anesthesiology nurses, pharmacists, and research assistants.
