We have been very fortunate to have a long tradition of Anesthesiology/Critical Care instructors from Great Britain, Germany, Australia and other countries since the mid 1970’s. Every year, the critical care faculty includes several visiting instructors who participate in the critical care and training of our residents. This program offers a unique perspective for our trainees to acquire information and practice styles from a broad perspective. Visiting instructors appointments with the department last from one to two years. Several permanent faculty have come from this remarkable group of clinician/educators.
