Dr. Rosenberg is the Chief of the Critical Care Division in the Department of Anesthesiology as well as the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Center Intensive Care Unit. He is also the program director for the ACGME approved critical care fellowship and director of ICU research. He is an assistant professor of Anesthesiology & Internal Medicine and attends in both the Cardio-thoracic ICU and the general surgical ICU. He is also a member of the cardiac anesthesia, ECMO and the general adult anesthesia teams. Dr. Rosenberg is board certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Internal Medicine. Dr. Rosenberg graduated from the University of Michigan and attended the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency as well as an additional year of anesthesiology training at Johns Hopkins followed by a multi-disciplinary critical care fellowship at the George Washington University Hospital where he studied ICU outcomes research. Dr. Rosenberg was selected as one of 22 national Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars and studied Intensive Care Unit outcome prediction models, and methods used to benchmark quality of care and ICU efficiency at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Following this, Dr. Rosenberg completed his anesthesiology training at Michigan.
