Dr. Park joins us from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she served as the Associate Director of the Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care in the Department of Surgery at the Jefferson Medical College, the Division responsible for clinical coverage of surgical critical care, trauma and emergency general surgery in the institution.

Dr. Park is a distinguished surgical intensivist and has served as one of only two Surgical Intensivists on the national ARDS Network Special Emphasis Panel and Steering Committee and at Jefferson served as the Co-Principal Investigator of the Thomas Jefferson Site of the NIH/NHLBI ARDS Clinical Network. She has also served as a Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on a number of translational research studies in Critical Care and Trauma Surgery.

 

Dr. Park comes with a tremendous amount of experience and is extremely devoted to education at every level; students, residents, fellows, and critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other ancillary personnel that make up the multidisciplinary and multi-professional team in the ICU. She will be providing attending coverage in the Surgical ICU and on the Trauma and Non-Trauma Emergency General Surgery Services.
