Rachel Ball, NP
Nurse Practioner
Rachel Ball has been a nurse practitioner for the Critical Care team for the past 4 years. She was the first nurse practitioner hired in the TICU and the program has grown to cover patients 24/7, which is a great accomplishment. Rachel has 10 years of nursing experience with the majority of it in thoracic surgery. She received her undergraduate at The University of Detroit Mercy and went on to finish her graduate degree at The University of Michigan. In the past, she has been a nursing instructor, CCRN course instructor, and is certified by the AACN. Mostly, she feels she is known for her charming personality and grand ability to communicate with EVERYONE. Lastly, she does have an identical twin that works along side of her in the ICU so often that people feel they are seeing double.
