The Department's annual GasMaster Golf Tournament was held at Reddeman's Farms Golf Club in Chelsea, MI on June 5,1999. A total of 51 foursomes participated in the popular event. A small breakfast was served in the clubhouse before the start of the scramble. A 7:10 am, players climbed on their carts and were off to their assigned holes for a 7:30 am shot gun start. Play wrapped up around 1:30 pm (we had a few VERY SLOW golfers). Everyone went back to the clubhouse for a barbecue buffet lunch (chicken, ribs, salads, etc.) and the awards ceremony.

Congratulations to the first place team: Wei Lau, M.D., Cliff Auxier (husband of administrative assistant Carey Auxier), Rob Loberg (husband of academic secretary Katherine Loberg), and Jim Olsen, DDS. The second place team included Ted Sanford, M.D., Associate Chair of Education, Jay Sanford, Chris Lambert, M.D. and Josh Stoler. The Lovelace team of Scott (Operating Room Business Manager), Mike, Patrick, and Kelly Lovelace took third place.
Hitting the longest drive among the male golfers was Josh Stoler; Kelly Lovelace hit the longest drive for the females. Closest to the pin were Andre Harrell for the males and Deb Wagner, PharmD for the females.
