A new conference for pediatric anesthesiologists, internists, and others involved in the care of critically ill children is being planned at the U-M. The Pediatric Critical Care Anesthesia conference, to be held Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6, 1995, is designed for people who work in the interface between the operating room and the intensive care unit.
Free papers and posters will be offered, along with symposia on ICU sedation, pain management, and neonatal cardiopulmonary bypass. Conference planners Jay Shayevitz, Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology, and Paul Reynolds, Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, and Associate Chair for Clinical Affairs, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, are hoping to have line placement and airway management workshops in place for the conference.
Mark your calendars now for October 5th and 6th for this dynamic, specialized conference brought together by one of the most prestigious children's hospitals in the nation. Information will be forthcoming as conference plans develop.
