Dr. Tremper is pleased to announce the initiation of the University of Michigan Department of Anesthesiology Alumni Club. Dr. George Chatas is the inaugural President and will work to develop activities and opportunities for members. The primary purpose of this Alumni Club is to enhance participation in social and educational activities of our department.
In addition, we will be providing a current E-mail directory of alumni. We anticipate this information to be helpful in recruiting new colleagues. There are also plans to establish an e-mail based consultation service with faculty and alumni. Furthermore, we want to provide access to our online internal web site that contains a continuously evolving collection of reference material.
However, the only way this directory will be successful is to obtain the current e-mail address of our alumni. A letter was sent to all alumni in December 2001 requesting e-mail addresses. If you did not receive the letter or have not responded and would like to be part of this exciting new club, please e-mail Carey Auxier at ANES-Info@med.umich.edu with your address.
