Society for Pediatric Anesthesia

The 6th Annual Joint Winter Meeting of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the Section on Anesthesiology-American Academy of Pediatrics was held February 24-27, 2000 in Fort Myers, Florida. The Department of Anesthesiology was well represented by three “walk-around” poster-discussion presentations. This interesting format follows that of a regular poster discussion except that the audience convenes in groups at each poster to discuss the presenters’ findings. Although travelling groups became a little unwieldy at times, this relaxed format provided some interesting and lively discussions.
