Carlos L. Moreno, M.D., CA-2, was elected to the national position of chair-elect of the Resident Component Section of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. His responsibilities will include leading the annual ASA Resident Component House of Delegates meeting, chairing two annual meetings of the Resident Governing Council, organizing communication between the Resident Governing Council and the ASA Board of Directors as well as residency programs nationwide, representing the ASA at national conferences, and establishing projects that promote the specialty of Anesthesiology to medical students. This is a two-year position for Dr. Moreno. Congratulations Carlos! |
