The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Michigan is implementing a perioperative data management system called, The Michigan Operating Room Data Management System (MorCARE).  MorCARE  manages all data associated with perioperative patient care - from preoperative history and physical, to the intraoperative anesthesia record, to quality assurance and patient satisfaction. The goal is to provide the information necessary for the Anesthesiology Department to manage the perioperative process in a way that will result in the highest quality of care, the lowest cost, and the highest level of patient satisfaction.  

MorCare is our configuration of a commercially available clinical information system called Centricity™. Centricity™ is product of GE Medical Systems.
