Fellowship Training
Cancer Pain
The University of Michigan Medical Center has a world renowned Cancer Center that evaluates over 43,000 outpatients per year. We provide consultative service and management for cancer patients with a spectrum of painful conditions. Pain Fellows find common opportunity to utilize neurolytic and implantable techniques. Skill is acquired with cryotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and chemical neurolysis. In addition, the pain fellows will have an opportunity during their training to rotate through the cancer center with an oncologist.
